Income Based Apartments
Terra Properties, Inc. manages a large portfolio of federally subsidized apartments throughout southern Illinois. Per the governments budgetary guidelines; 30% of a household’s income should be for the necessity of basic housing expenses. Therefore 30% of the household’s gross income; should equal rent and basic utilities.
The resident will be required to pay their calculated rental amount; as well as have the basic utilities in their name. All properties vary on utility expenses, which may include: electric, gas, water, sewer, and/or trash.
These apartments do have income limits, set by the counties in which they are located.
Pets are not permitted at these properties; only documented service or companion animals will be allowed.
Conventional Apartments
Terra Properties, Inc. manages conventional apartments, in which rent is set at a price based on the surrounding housing market, currently ranging from $600- $1,000 a month. The rental amounts are based on the amenities provided with the rental unit. Amenities can include: washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, ,fireplaces, additional bathrooms, balconies, patios, covered parking, etc.
The renter will be expected to have basic utilities put in their name, which may include: electric, gas, water, sewer, and/or trash.
Animals may be permitted at the conventional apartments for an additional fee; you will need to contact the property manager for further animal specifications.
